Reflections on Labor, Environment and Education

Abstract

This article arises from research “Agribusiness and its trail of lies and destruction: a study on work-education and the environment from the perspective of class struggle”. We brought the part of the dialogue with environmental researchers that problematizes agribusiness. From the location of this sector in capitalist mode of production, through its relationship with the environment to the main scope: the educational implications. We infer that the 'socio-environmental conflict' is where the practice of Critical Environmental Education is constituted, where the relationship between "Work, Environment and Education" materializes to theorization. We conclude that “preparation for the new” (guarnicê) permeates a Critical Education that is not near with the capital system.
