Teaching Regulatory Standards (RS) in a technical course through Comic Stories (CS)

For teaching hygiene and safety at work (HSW), different pedagogical resources can be implemented, such as: inverted classroom, ICTs, among others. In this work, in view of the lack of similar studies, we decided to use comics as a facilitator of this discussion. In this sense, between August and December 2018, at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba - Campus Princesa Isabel, in the sertão paraibano, Brazil, an activity was carried out designed for 24 students of the technical course in environmental control, integrated into teaching average with currilar component HSW. The comics proved to be very effective resources in teaching the NR-31, as they enabled the exercise of skills such as the power of synthesis, group work, discussion of ideas, the use of creativity, presentation of results and good argumentation by the students. It was also possible to observe that the students were very attentive to details and that the images and the textual dynamics of the comic aroused their interest.
