IF’s, a story to be made and the ways of research

This article reveals the paths of the research that led to the master's thesis “Citizen for the world of Work: The IF's and the society’s project of development”, and the educational product “A History to be made: the meaning of professional training in the IFs”, produced within the scope of the Graduate Program in Technological Professional Education of the Federal Network of Professional Scientific and Technological Education, Blumenau center, based at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina-IFC. The goal is to contribute with students and researchers in the organization of scientific research pathways and to disseminate the dissertation and the product derived from our research, which are tools for the understanding and defense of this public policy of State materialized in the Federal Institutes.
