The principle of verticalization of education and teaching work in Federal Institutes

The text is based on research developed about the configuration between verticalization and teaching work at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia, Campus Eunápolis. The instruments used were document analysis, questionnaire application and interviews. From a teaching perspective, the results indicate that the relationship between verticalization and the work, there are factors that impede greater quality in fulfilling their social role in education as a teacher. However, there are elements that allow them to enjoy carrying out their work and show that the policies that guided the expansion of Technical Professional Education conducted with the creation and expansion of Federal Education Institutes proved to be innovative.
