A study with graduates of the Technical Course in Dental Prosthesis at the Technical School of Health at the Federal University of Uberlândia

Abstract
This article aims to analyze the transition between academic training and the world of work for graduates of the Technical Course in Dental Prosthodontics at the Technical School of Health (ESTES) of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). This article was structured in the following sections: Creation of the Technical Health School (ESTES) of the Federal University of Uberlândia; the Technical Course in Dental Prosthesis at the Technical School of Health; research methodological path; analysis and discussion of results and final considerations. For the collection of information, bibliographical research, documental and semi-structured interviews were carried out. In the analysis of the collected data, it was evidenced that the ESTES/UFU has fulfilled the purpose of offering public, free and quality education, aiming to meet the local and regional demand, articulating education and work so that the subjects are inserted in the world of work.
