This article approaches art and science considering them as forms of human objectification with the intent to locate them socially and historically to ponder where they converge and diverge. The arguments are based on the dialectical historical materialist perspective and the epistemological basis are based on Karl Marx and George Lukács studies, looking for approach the knowledges in their relations of totality with a view to overcoming fragmentation. It is expected to contribute to the understanding objectifications (work, art and Science) in their birth, settlement and elevation in order to allow a more integrative perception of these elements from the concrete reality.
