Resumo

As noções de empreendedorismo, empreendedorismo social e responsabilidade social corporativa são utilizados com frequência em diversos contextos, contudo nem sempre os mesmos são aplicados de forma adequada gerando-se incoerências e equívocos na sua interpretação. Neste sentido importa refletir sobre o que entendemos por empreendedorismo, como é que este conceito poderá ser entendido numa perspetiva social e ainda em que medida estes conceitos se associam e diferenciam do de responsabilidade social corporativa. Este trabalho dará assim um contributo para a discussão sobre o tema e para o seu entendimento pelos diversos intervenientes no processo empreendedor, sejam eles os académicos, as empresa ou as organizações sem fins lucrativos. E, apresentará um estudo de caso aplicado à empresa Delta Cafés, a qual se revela como um exemplo paradigmático de aplicação prática destes conceitos.

Biografia do Autor

Luísa Cagica Carvalho, Open University of Lisbon, Portugal

Dr. Luisa Carvalho is Assistant Professor at Department of Social Sciences and Management, Open University of Portugal and coordinates the MSc in Management and the Intensive Course on Entrepreneurship and Small Business. She is researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics (CEFAGE), University of Évora (Portugal). She received her PhD in Management from the University of Évora (Portugal). She is coordinated the Unit to innovation, R&D and Entrepreneurship in Institute Polytechnic of Setubal in Portugal.  Actually she is also invited professor on University of São Paulo-Brazil and coordinate and lectures the subject of entrepreneurship and innovation on the PhD program. She is the author of several articles in scientific journals, international conferences, books and book chapters. Her current research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, internationalization and services sector.
