Vol. 5 No. 1 (2025): Ontology, Social Critique, and Ancestry

Dialektiké – Journal of Philosophy resumes its trajectory with volume 5, number 1 (2025), under the theme Ontology, Social Critique, and Ancestry. This issue brings together five articles and two essays that explore the vitality of being in dialogue with language and technique; revisit Brazilian social formation and the pedagogy of song; and broaden the horizons of philosophy through Indigenous knowledge and a post-Eurocentric critique of the canon. Far from seeking conciliatory synthesis, the volume embraces creative tensions between tradition and openness, theory and practice, reason and ancestry, reaffirming philosophy as a plural and critical crossing in the face of the challenges of our time.
