Dialektiké is the Philosophy journal of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN). Founded in 2014 by a group of IFRN professors, it stands as a pioneering initiative among the Federal Institutes (IFs) in Brazil. Emerging from the need to create a new space for the discussion and dissemination of research in various fields of philosophy — or in interdisciplinary areas grounded in philosophical theoretical tools — the journal has become an important platform for researchers from IFs and universities to contribute to the national philosophical research landscape.
After a period of pause, Dialektiké resumes its editorial activities with renewed energy and a renewed commitment to critical, plural, and rigorous philosophical production. Reorganized by an editorial team based at IFRN and supported by a scientific board with national and international representation, the journal reaffirms its role as a space for open, dialogical reflection, engaged with the contemporary challenges of philosophy.
Submissions may be made in Portuguese, English, Spanish, or French, depending on the section. The journal maintains its pluralistic vocation, welcoming different approaches, philosophical traditions, and theoretical perspectives. The editorial process is guided by criteria of quality, argumentative consistency, and thematic relevance, ensuring the academic rigor of each issue.
The journal is published semiannually, exclusively in digital format. Thematic issues may occasionally be published. Submit your contribution!
