Abstract

This article is based on the reading of the work Iniciação à Estética, by Ariano Suassuna, with the objective of analyzing how the production of student songs can help in the creation of philosophical concepts, promoting the development of critical, creative and autonomous thinking. The proposal is based on the premise that music, as a cultural and artistic manifestation, can be used as a powerful tool for teaching philosophy, stimulating reflection and philosophical creation based on aesthetic experience. It is worth noting that, as a didactic resource, this intervention is restricted to the type of music that uses poetry. Therefore, as a result of this reflection, we present some principles of teaching philosophy that value aesthetics and the culture of Pernambuco.
