Panama, strategically located between the Americas, plays a crucial role in global trade. Its history is marked by Spanish colonization, independence, and the construction of the Panama Canal, one of the world's main maritime transport hubs. Socially, the country has invested in welfare policies and infrastructure, expanding access to education and healthcare. Culturally, it promotes diplomatic initiatives and heritage preservation programs, reinforcing its national identity and international integration. Economically, Panama has shown sustained growth, driven by trade and financial services. Brazil, one of its trading partners, has maintained variable trade relations, with export and import flows ranging from $ 250 million in 2000 to over $ 1.5 billion in 2024, highlighting products such as fuels, agricultural goods, and industrial equipment.
